Plan

1000010070 (1).jpg

I started by building the head, which used coils as the brains, with lots of 'fat-rolls' for realism. I then attached the hollowed out Torso to the head and made some arms. I attached the arms (which were just some coils) the following day. I then carved the legs out of a cube and attached them to the torso in the following class. I then spent time shaping/adjusting the legs so that it could stand up straight. I then painted/clear-glazed it for the next 3 classes (no pic for the Monday I glazed it).

Reflection

It turned out pretty well, I am very happy with what I made (and I think the 3rd grader will be too). The thing was very stable and stuck together quite well, it was also my first time really enjoying painting. I think it allowed me to learn new things about sculpting human anatomy, aswell as giving me a better understanding of how to mix colors.
